There are several diseases in the world
which effects many people. Millions of people died with these diseases.
Diabetes, heart attack, heart diseases, blood pressure and all diseases related
with alcohol and smoking are popular diseases which fall in the category of
lifestyle diseases. Like adults, kids are also affected by lifestyle diseases. This
is due to fluctuating purchasing power of the people. Technology is also
responsible for lifestyle diseases up to some extent. Technology has also
changed our habits. Adults and kids spend most of their times on smart phones
laptops and computers. Kids specially play games on smartphones and waste lot
of their spare time. Physical activities have decreased due to spending more
time on smartphones and computers which is one of the main causes of lifestyle
diseases.
Diseases like malaria, polio can be controlled
with the help of best treatment but in the case of lifestyle diseases physical
activity and best diet plays a vital role. We can say that in the case of
lifestyle diseases, prevention is better than cure. Heart attack blood pressure
and diabetes are the main reasons behind the death of 14.2 million people every
year. These people fall in the age category of 30 to 69 years.
Obesity is a disease which includes in the
category of lifestyle diseases. Low quality food, unhealthy eating habits, life
full of stress and no physical activities leads to obesity. In large cases
diabetes is caused by obesity. The largest number of diabetic patients are
found in India with the total strength of 40.9 million. Kids are also facing
this disease.
Thickness in arterial blood vessels and
lose elasticity results arteriosclerosis and leads to pain in chest, problem in
blood circulation and heart attacks. People of age 34 to 64 are affected by
this disease. Irregular working of heart muscles and blood vessels are
responsible for several types of heart diseases. High cholesterol level,
alcohol, smoking and diabetes also top on the list which causes different heart
problems.
